: Master Sword/Picori Blade Theory :

Alright, as we all know, Legend of Zelda seems to have two paralel stories: Four Sword (Minish Cap, Four Sword, and Four Sword Adventure) and the Master Sword (Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, etc...). My theory is that these stories are one in the same!
Minish Cap is the first of the four sword games, in which you must return the power to a broken sword name the Picori Blade by taking it and the elements into the elemental sancuary. Keep in mind that the sancuary has a pedestal with the Triforce engraved in it and a large stone door in the back. Now, at the end of Minish Cap, the Picori Blade is sealed into the Elemtental Sancuary along with Vaati and the sancuary can not be opened until the portal into the Minish world opens 100 years later. When that happens, Link removes the Picori Blade, splits into a four and releases Vaati. This occurs twice...
After Four Sword adventure, a great length of time passes and the old Hyrule castle is demolished, but due to the seal on the sancuary, it is left standing. The old town of Hyrule is renamed Kakariko and the new town of Hyrule is built around the sanctuary, which has been renamed The Temple of Time. Hundreds more years passed and on the day the portal to the minish world opens, Link plays the song of time to remove the large stone door blocking the rear entrance into the Temple of Time where the Picori waits. However, the eons that have passed have taken the splitting powers away from the Picori Blade and it has been renamed the Master Sword.
I have two items of evidence toward this. Number one is the fact that the blades are shaped the same. Number two is that when you power up the Four Sword in Four Sword Adventure, it says "Your sword now has the power to repel evil." In Wind Waker, after Link's less than successful atempt on Ganondorf's life, Ganondorf says that Link can not hurt him until "the sword glitter with the power to repel evil." Sound familiar?
