I think the reason they havent shown or told us about link's father is
becausae protecting link and his mother, he had been sentecned to be burned
at a stake. And as link's mother fled, Link's father had felt that he had
done well so he didn't bother cutting the ropes to folo them.but because of
the wounds Link's mother had, she died shortly after they were in the koriki
forest. This theory is stort but that is what i believe that happened.
