The Legend of Zelda
- The whistle tune is the same music used in Super Mario Bros. 3 when Mario also uses the whistle.
A Link to the Past
- Mario's Portait : Pictures of mario make several appearances in many houses. If you pull on some of them, rupees will be released from the picture.
- In Turtle Rock, a familiar Mario enemy makes an appearance, Chomp Chomp.
Link's Awakening
- The Yoshi Doll : You can win a yoshi doll in the crane game. This doll is required for the trade sequence.
- Tarin has a very close resemblence to Mario.
- Princess Toadstool is the photo in the letter you give to Mr. Write.
- Goombas are the main enemy in caves.
- Chomp Chomp is Madame Meow Meow's pet chain up outside her house.
Ocarina of Time
- Inside Hyrule Castle, if you look through the windows where you talk to Zelda, you will notice a Mario, Peach, and Bowser pictures.
- Talon looks like Mario - Ingo looks like Luigi.
