Welcome to Majora’s Memes, where we bring you memetic madness weekly! Due to a scheduling hiccup, we’re posting a day late, but better late than never!

Like scouring Hyrule Field for bushes that hopefully contain Rupees or bombs or arrows, the Internet is searched for Zelda-related laughs.

This week, we don’t have as many as we have in past weeks, but we think these finds are as good as any!

To start this week off, here’s a twist on an old favorite, courtesy of mustapan on Meme Center.

Ni no Kuni is a game made by Level-5 and Studio Ghibli (the studio that makes most of Hayao Miyazaki’s films such as Princess Mononoke and Howl’s Moving Castle). While it’s not Zelda, somebody felt they had to point out something they believe the protagonist Oliver does better than link.

I was pretty sure I’m not the only one who’s ever thought about this, now I have proof!

Lastly, we have this image, posted by Bleee on Memebase. What I think is important to note is that it’s an homage to the early film A Trip to the Moon by Georges Méliès

        OH MY GOD. i broke the chandeleir and gave the soup to the master guy, but nothing happened so i didnt go back. ever. later, once i could try and get graditude crystals, i thought maybe i just did that quest to early. NOPE.

      That was the original plan, but it got scrapped. In early beta version the medallions had magical effects/spells.

    That last one may actually be a reference to a movie called “Hugo”, where an old silent film shows a rocket crashing into the man in the moon’s eye.

    The third pic was wrong and right. The attacks still do the same amount of damage but they are useful. At Ganons Castle The Six Sages Use their Powers to make a bridge.
