Twilight Princess’ Pumpkin Soup Recipe Video

SetterwindNovember 6th, 2012 by Setterwind

Another great cooking video from Feast of Fiction is up on YouTube. In this one, the feast is the famous Pumpkin Soup from Twilight Princess. They show ways to decorate the soup to make it seem like a festive centerpiece at the dinner table. They also share some history about pumpkins in the Zelda games and they even got into the Halloween spirit by dressing up as Yeto, Link and Epona. Take the jump to find out how to make this yummy soup!

I was not so sure about whether or not this would make a good tasting soup or not but, after watching how to make it, I am thinking I might try it. I do love pumpkin but I have never had goat cheese before so that should be interesting to say the least. Are you going to try out this recipe? What would you add or take away from your version? Let us know in the comments!

I will knock down their chandelier and trick them into thinking that all 100 free soups went to sky knight

  • VikzeLink

But what about fish? There was fish in the soup too, a reekfish, that Yeto caught!

  • Wendy

Oh wow I just had pumpkin soup last night! Yes, it is good! Very creamy, a bit spicy, sort of sweet. I didn’t even think of Twilight Princess.

  • Demise

Oh but my oven can only do 220* C…

    ……..

    ………

    ……*F. Oh. Get it.

Why did this get votes down? It’s funny. :s

      • Demise

Because every comment here has at least one vote down. Some have 2 and a couple have 3, so I guess I am unlucky. (Wendy has 3 downs too, there’s no reason for that either). A different question is why I didn’t get any thumbs up.

        • Wendy

Probably just some stupid kids. I never down vote anything unless I find it personally offensive in some way.

        • Linkfan99

you got 4 thumbs up, including one from me.
(This statement is subject to change. lol.)

This looks tasty …Glad they left the fish out!

I like their recipe, but it’s not very authentic to the one in Twilight Princess. I’ve seen recipes that follow the ingredients a lot more closely—even including the fish.

  • Kris

Um…Isn’t the pumpkin soup in Skyward Sword, not Twilight Princess? (Unless there was some other pumpkin soup I am not remembering, which is very possible.)

    • Linkfan99

Actually, it was called “Good Soup”, but it said it smells like pumpkins, implying it has pumpkins in it. You get it in the Snowpeak Ruins dungeon (Yeti’s Mansion) from the husband Yeti who is trying to make the wife feel better.

Weren’t these the people who made that red potion video a while back?

    • Kablamogroup

Why, yes, indeed they are. They have a bunch of videos on YouTube showing them make multiple food items from various works of fiction. If you’re interested, look up “Feast of Fiction” on YouTube. You can even subscribe to them if you’d like.

Oops. I absorbed the pumpkin. Well, it was worth it. Yum.
