Zelda Music in the Olympics

Only the most dedicated and disciplined people make their way to the Olympics. Who says that those people can’t also have great taste in video game music? Elsa Garcia Rodriguez Blancas, who competes for Mexico in this year’s Olympics, used a medley of Zelda music during her qualifying floor routine. This would certainly put a bit of bounce in my step. Take the jump to see the routine video complete with great Zelda music!

Olympic gymnastics and Zelda do not usually appear in the same sentence. This makes it that much more exciting to find a gymnast who shows some love for the music. Gymnastics is one of the only Olympic events that I actually enjoy watching so I can only imagine actually being there in the audience and hearing the music start.
