Great podcast! I saw it on iTunes last night and listened to it then :) . I think a Zelda anime would be good, as long as they don’t follow the story line of any one of the games. Just going off and making its own story would work better, then you could avoid the how-are-we-supposed-to-do-a-dungeon-in-an-anime kinda thing. But I think it would work. It is really cool to hear what Zelda is from a not-Zelda-fanboy/girl, too, since most of the people here at ZD have been playing it since they were little, or at least for a very long time, so anything we think is kinda biased. And I don’t want you off the podcast, Colonel!! AnimeBassoon, Im glad you changed your name; anime is always fun and I play the bassoon, which is definitely the awesomest instrument!!

  • Donutwizard

    first comment! :D

    • Nerion

      Nope

  • Nouvione

    That was Elegy of Emptiness!

    • Person

No it wasn’t, go ahead and check YouTube for Oath to Order and Elegy of
Emptiness (there are convenient links on ZD under MM– soundtrack) and compare it to the podcast (42:45). It was Oath to Order.

      • Person

No, sorry, 45:45, not 42. Silly me.

        • Nouvione

You are right, but the song he sang is EoE!

  • Bilbo

Never mind, it was 45:45, not 42:45

  • MajoraMan

Screw YOu guys And Dog and Lemons…..
friggin elegy of emptiness BUTT MONGER!

  • Din Akera

If you listen closely to both songs, they both start on the exact same note and are held for the same amount of time. Because there was a buzz in, the second note was not heard. Therefore, it was a 50/50 shot. MajoraMan picked one and guessed wrong, therefore Tatl simply guessed the other one earning her the point. That was timing and luck. It was in fact the Oath to Order, it was the one we picked.

    • JuicieJ

I heard the second note. =/

  • Thatpluckyblueloftwing

Where do we leave our own questions for the keaton quiz?

  • Olamarr

I have been meaning to send in a few audio questions and maybe a segment for ages , I just need to buy a microphone.

  • Olamarr

you can get the Minish cap cartridge and use it on the DS.

  • rulerofyourface

I agree with the voice acting, GO VOICE ACTING!

43:50 – That game over music was not from LttP. That melody has been used in Four Swords Adventures and Majora’s Mask, but that particular version was from the Famicom Disk System version of the original Legend of Zelda. (It could have also been the end game music, but it didn’t play long enough to tell.)

I’m guessing that particular track was taken from the Sound and Drama album which focused on LttP music, but also included the FDS version of the original LoZ’s soundtrack.

  • RandomPerson

The “friend” will be released when he finishes Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword

  • Neutopia

Actually most of my friends really enjoy The Legend Of Zelda aha, and I know lots of people who have never played it, mostly because they’re too old or too young aha.
I for one would love to see a Zelda anime, I totally think that it could work too. :P

  • Midna’s Sister

YES. MIDNA MIDNA MIDNA. SHE IS HOT ON LONK. MIDNA MIDNA MIDNA.

  • Midna’s Sister

Random question: Are Rishian and you brother and sister, or related in any way? (Martage would count, but you two do not seem like lovahz)
