Club Nintendo Golden Nunchuck Sold Out, Will Return

You might have noticed that for the past few days, the Golden Nunchuck accessory from Club Nintendo has been sold out. Fortunately, Nintendo has come forward confirming that it will be making a return in the future. We just have no idea when. After seeing the golden Wii Remote that was bundled in a special edition of Skyward Sword, many fans were upset that there was no golden Nunchuck controller to compliment that. A little while after, we saw a fan-painted golden Nunchuck. Make the jump for more Golden Nunchuck information.

A few days back, Nintendo said that “Due to popular demand, the Gold Nunchuk sold out quicker than anticipated! We’re hoping to make this golden gem available again. Please check back soon for more details.”

Are you excited for the Nunchuck to come back? I wasn’t able to get mine, but did you get yours? Do you plan to get one once they come back? Let us know below!

  I might just do that! It’s cheaper than the Club Nintendo one (I’m on a Coin shortage) and I think my Mom and sister have some!

    in all technicality, the official one is pretty much free as you don’t have to pay for the account. you just have to spend money on games and time on surveys. that wasn’t a problem for me though since i had alot of games i had never registered. too bad my sister also found out about Club Nintendo as she got ahold of everything else i could’ve used to get coins (and she even tried to use TP but i caught her just in time )

It kinda sucks that they brought this to the US Club Nintendo right after I imported one from Japan, but… still happy we at least get it.

  wow talk about desperate . it’s cool to know how you just barely got something. when i bought my 3DS for my b-day a year ago, i managed to get the last copy of OoT3D in the store.

I’m still hoping that they would re-stock the 3ds game case, I miss it on when it went out of stock and then re-stock, I ask Nintendo and they said that is very unlikely that they will be getting more in stock, but they will listen to al customer asking for the item.

  i’m waiting for them to come out with a case like i have for the XL. the fancy Zelda cases are awesome but too flimsy, and the nerf ones are too bulky. what i have for the XL is perfect and it just fits over the system but is thick enough to protect it (i’m glad i have it too as i dropped my XL once and thought it broke in half, but only the top of the case came off and the XL was fine ) it also has a flip open stand and a “drawer” for 4 games and a big and small stylus, which absolutely amazes anybody i show it too :/ despite all that it doesn’t add to the size of the bulky system that much. so yeah, that’s what i want for the 3DS and i haven’t found one yet, so thus my 3DS is caseless and i don’t take it anywhere. :/

i almost cried when i saw it was sold out. as soon as i saw the article talking about it i immediately signed up for an account and registered all my possible games and systems and now have a total of 740 coins (so close!) i really want this but it’ll be no use if i can’t get my siblings to stop using my gold remote for netflix and games. we have four other perfectly good remotes and they still use my gold one >:(

  We have four white ones and I have the gold one as well. It’s convenient that four is the max for all the games we have so whenever anyone else wants to play they have no excuse.

    i have two white regulars, a white plus and a blue plus and the gold plus. the white plus is missing, and my brother uses batteries as an excuse, even though batteries are laying around everywhere he just took them out of the remotes -_-

      Don’t you just hate that? I can’t even use mine cuz my little brothers pretty much stole my gold one! If I get a Wii U, They WILL NOT get to use it >:D They have their own wii.

I will have over 900 coins on Club Nintendo soon so I plan on saving them to get this. I do have the golden wiimote so this is what I’ve been waiting for.

I was saving up my points for years, had nearly 3,000 coins, spent them all on random posters and shirts, and a week later they threw this up lol, so unfair, I’m really glad that they are going to bring it back.
