Mailbag #019 is here for you guys! We’re sure starting to get into some high numbers, eh? We’re finally starting to get back to some broader topics. There’s still a lot of attention on Skyward Sword, but I’ve been getting a lot more questions unrelated to it, or only partially related. Enjoy!

The questions and their timestamps:

(08:59) – Should Link be customizable in Skyward Sword?

I did not find the water temple to be that hard. The only thing I couldn't figure out on my own was how to beat Dark Link. Excuse me if I didn't realize you have to not lock onto him! As for the Hero of Time after MM, I think there could be another game about him one day but there probably wont be. No Link so far has ever gotten three games, but if they did, he'd be the first. As for Sheik, a big part of what made him/her interesting was the suprise when you find out he/she's Zelda. Now that everyone knows, it wouldn't be that interesting to see her come back.
And you should have asked about the Dark World in ALTTP instead of the Twilight Realm because only the chosen hero transforms in the Twilight Realm wheras everyone transforms in the Dark World. And I don't think the Majora's Mask evil will be in Skyward Sword.

4. I suppose that way they could be more like markers– like "the bearers are _marked_ (fated) to take part in this epic story" or some such.
5. I hope not. I prefer to keep MM on its glorious own. Also, Axle, that's not quite so: Majora's Incarnation is his true form (thus "incarnation"), and his Wrath is like a beefed-up version once you make him angry (from hitting him so much?).

i wish that they'd add back things like master sword/biggoron's sword and the forging OoT and MM respectively

What do you guys think about having only 8 items in the game. I find that this will mean using all of them consistintly ( not sure if I spelled that right) instead of having items like the spinner and ball and chain in Twilight princess that you used in a boss fight and than in the cave of ordeals.

Water temples are always supposed to be difficult but the bosses were easy

what if there is different links in each game exept for oot and mm those are the same link but you know how link has to get the master sword and stuff over again and how it says in the begining of zelda games there was a hero long ago that wore this tunic and all that its just plain weird
