MTV Multiplayer got a quick interview with Reggie Fils-Aime concerning the upcoming Legend of Zelda for the Nintendo Wii, but unfortunately, not much was revealed, but here are two notable quotes from Reggie himself.
“For us, it’s all about making sure it is perfect.”
“I’ve talk to people about it. I, personally, have not played Zelda.”
E3 2010 is likely the first time that we are going to get detailed information for the upcoming Zelda Wii. Fortunately enough, that is only three months away! Let us know what you think of Reggie’s recent interview in the comments below.

guys at least he isnt giving us false hope by saying "oh yes itll definitly be out during July" and end up delaying it till the next year (Couggh* super smash bros brawl)
haha I read a bunch of posts somewhere (probably in the forums here) that predicted that he would say exactly what he said.

I think I understand what Nintendo's doing with this game, though. I mean, for Twilight Princess, they were hyping that up a LOT, but it ended up getting delayed a bunch, and then people complained about the lack of depth. They've learned their lesson. It gives me the feeling they might be trying to outdo TP with this one, which is something certainly to be hoped for, right? And I myself kind of like the mystery. If I knew too much about it I'd be obsessing over it like I always do. Although I do admit, I WOULD like to at least get the name …
I agree, the mystery is kind of exiting, i mean as of now we barely had any information on it at all, just concept art and a few other tidbits, at least this way it will keep us exited and who knows? they'll probably have more and more little peeks this coming year
I have heard that Zelda Wii is coming out on 6/2/10
in my opinion, I want them to take as long as they want! I don't want them to rush the game just so they can get it out there. Look at Final Fantasy 13!!! I played the game and its amazing!! And it took them over 5 years to finish it! I don't want to get a crappy Zelda game just because they had to rush it out for sale! I mean come on, we will all live if it comes out next year! And I want that to happen. with that time they can make the game even better!
It makes sense for them to release it this Christmas, because last year we were expecting three big games in 2010, Galaxy 2, other m, and zelda. But since it is confirmed that mario and metroid are coming this summer, we can expect Zelda to take the Christmas spotlight like Mario bros wii and Spirit Tracks last year.
I am syched!! By the sound of it, its Brawl all over again. They delayed Brawl by a TON, but every time they delayed it they made it even better! I say, delay it as much as you want to, as long as you improve it every time. In fact, I encourage them to delay it more. (Again, as long as they improve it more.) I also kind of agree that the lack of info is exciting, and I like the mystery.

i Dont care when it comes out as long as it dose infact come out and thay dont put the ball and chain the magic armore and the spining top back into it like in TP(how the hell do you fit those type of things in your back pocet or a backpack)
