3D Dot Game Heroes: 3D Zelda Nostalgia

3D Dot Game Heroes is a game that has released in Japan and is set to release in May of 2010, exclusively for the Playstation 3. The game, for all common purposes, is classic NES Legend of Zelda, but in 3D lego style environment. The game borrows nearly identical looking gameplay with Link using his sword, having the ability to dash, getting bombarded by attacks of chickens, while fighting enemies that greatly resemble keese and octoroks. It sure seems like it’s just a game that’s doing homage to the Legend of Zelda series without infringing of the copyright that Nintendo has on the Zelda series.

I personally cannot tell if I should be upset about this, want to play it, or have no opinion whatsoever. My best friend has a PS3 so perhaps come May it will be worth getting for its discounted $39.99 price point. Only time will tell.
